Keep Austin Playing

Keep Austin Playing is an annual event hosted by Austin Parks and Recreation Department. This free event is an evening full of exciting, interactive games and healthy programs to get your kiddos moving. Events and game options include inflatable batting cages, bike rodeos, human foosball, obstacle courses, and a portable climbing wall.

Family Yoga in the Park
Date: July 19th, 2015

Location: Wooldridge Square Park
Price: Free
The Little Yoga House leads this free, family friendly yoga event. Yogis of all ages and skill levels are welcome to join. The event is led by certified yoga instructors who are accustomed to leading a child and family centered class. All participants must bring their own mat.

Bright Leaf Hikes
Dates: August 8th-9th, 2015
Time: 9am-11:30 am
Price: Free
Location: Bright Leaf Preserve
This free, guided hike is hosted by the Friends of Bright Leaf Foundation in the Bright Leaf Preserve. This family friendly hike is four miles long, taking approximately 2 1/2 hours to complete. The hiking trail is not suitable for strollers, and dogs are not allowed on the path. No registration necessary, simply dress weather appropriate, pack lots of water, and arrive ready for fun!
