Round Rock Pediatricians, Dr. Katalenas and Dr. Jenny Jacomides provide medical care for newborns, infants, and children through 18 years of age. Our interaction with families takes the pediatrician through all stages of the child's life and development. We are there to advise families every step of the way. From eating issues to stages of development or immunizations, we believe we can help parents make the best decisions when it comes to their children's physical and mental health. |

New and expectant parents often have questions about facing the unknown and for that reason we have developed prenatal classes to start a process of education that we believe should continue for the rest of the child's life. Pediatric Center of Round Rock offers free newborn and prenatal classes every month for new or expectant parents. The classes include information on what to expect at delivery, information on breastfeeding, newborn screenings, immunizations and lots of other great information. The classes are held one Thursday out of the month at 6:00 p.m. Classes fill up fast so make your reservation now!
The Pediatric Center of Round Rock offers evaluations for children and adolescents with concerns about ADHD, as well as information and support for parents. We obtain a complete history from parents and educators, regular monitoring and communication with parents and teachers.
At the Pediatric Center of Round Rock we offer Autism screening at the nine-month and three-year visit in order to identify red flags as early as possible. Frequent well-check exams by your Pediatrician will allow for early identification by regularly observing the child’s behavior and listening to your concerns.
The Pediatric Center of Round Rock offers a Nutrition Management Program, designed to help children and families make the life-style changes necessary to promote and maintain health and prevent childhood obesity. We work with families to help them understand how weight loss and weight maintenance creates a life-long benefit for children and their families.
